Tim Bradshaw.

Tim Bradshaw is a former British Army intelligence officer.

Tim recruited and ran foreign agents worldwide, and has influenced the outcome of numerous sensitive and dangerous situations. His experience of understanding and dealing with pressure and change, and effective decision making and building resilience, forms the basis of the work he carries out with clients and audiences globally.

Combining the inspirational with the practical, Tim explores the common mistakes and important lessons in creating influence and resilience within teams and clients. Tim founded, and is a director of Sandstone Communications, an international leadership and trauma training consultancy. He is Chief Executive Officer of the Sandstone Foundation delivering resilience workshops to schools and young people. His book Because I Can: The Robust Guide To Being Effective was published in 2022.

  • Resilience has become a selfish subject with people focussing on themselves. The real key to effective performance is to enable resilience in the team around you. Being resilient on your own isn’t always helpful. The real role of an intelligence officer is to empower those around them and build resilience in their team with one eye firmly on achieving the mission. Tim explores and teaches the secrets of how to build resilience, along with the tricks that enable individuals to keep going when all seems lost.

  • You are about to meet a dangerous stranger, you need to win their trust and influence their behaviour. Get it right, you dictate the outcome of the meeting and obtain the critical intelligence you need. Get it wrong and... Tim exposes the techniques used to build rapport, reassurance and trust and how these skills can be translated into a corporate environment to create a workplace in which business is won and teams perform at their best.

  • Are you in a legitimate position of power? Are you an expert in your field? If so, are you aware of the blind spots you are creating? It is exceedingly unlikely that your team will question you, no matter how much you tell them your door is always open! There is no such thing as a motivated team but you can have a team of motivated people. Understanding where you base of power comes from and which leadership style to adopt when can transform your teams outcomes.
