Dr Paul Redmond on RTE Radio 1
Generational theorist and employability speaker Dr Paul Redmond joined RTE Radio 1’s Drivetime to discuss the alarming impact of digital devices on students’ wellbeing, focus and academic performance. A recent study he explored reveals that, unless habits change, students are on track to spend 25 years of their lives on their phones. Paul warns that the human brain has not evolved to cope with this level of distraction and that the attention economy is rapidly becoming a public health issue. He also appeared this week as a guest on BBC Radio Scotland.
